Remember this, from 2001? The first ever Ticket Exchange Board ....

That was the year of the BARMY BALLOT and the archive shows only some of the messages posted on the board that year. There was still three months to go!

During those years when the Festival sold out early over 500 tickets would change hands, at face value, via the Board. Scalpers didn't stand a chance.

The Ticket Exchange has been run as a free community service independant of the Port Fairy Folk Festival.

Ticket Exchange

We have been advised by the Port Fairy Folk Festival that they plan to establish a PFFF Online Ticket Exchange service this year which will go into action once a ‘sell-out’ is announced. ……. “We will advise our ticket holders that our site is the only site which can guarantee buyers can acquire a genuine ticket and sellers guaranteed a refund.”
